GIS Electric chain hoists have been manufactured and developed in Schötz, Switzerland since 1963.
The hoist are tailor made for the entertainment industry and have the reputation of being the lightest most robust hoists on the market.
Models range from 250KGs to 1.6 Tons and can be equipped in various executions including direct control, low voltage control and can incorporate executors for automated control.

GIS AG was founded by the brothers Alex and Beda Iseli (GIS = Gebrüder Iseli Schötz – German for brothers Iseli Schötz). Electric chain hoists and complete crane systems have been manufactured and developed in Schötz since 1963. Worldwide distribution is carried out by more than 50 distribution partners and our subsidiary in Germany. Approximately 100 employees, 18 of them are apprentices, are very committed for innovative and high-quality products and system solutions day to day. We set great value upon apprenticeship training and the personal development of each individual employee.
